Sassy.Movie.Challenge

Hi all, I know, I know, LOL! Your thinking where in the heck did I come up with this movie as an inspiration!!!! Some of you are too young to remember Elvis movies but I loved them as a kid. The Sassy Studio Design image, Lollipop girl, reminded me of when people would go to a big fair or amusement park and walk around with one of these giant lollipops! Also I got the idea to add penants and that reminded me of a fair. It's a stretch, I know! I only have about 5 SSD images to work with! Hope you like it.

Mojo#124.Just.for.you.kitty

I'm on a card making roll this week. I love this sketch and this digital kitty stamp. Problem is, I don't know where I got it so if anyone recognizes it, please tell me. I think it was free but not sure. My coloring came out good on this card. I'm getting the hang of the light source more and more. I left the inside blank so I can decide later if it will be a birthday card or some other occasion.

Summer.Card.Sassy.Pile it on

Hi Blog friends,

I made this card for a few challenges. One was the Sassy Thursday challenge to create a summer themed card. I chose to use the Magazine Margie image and have her laying in the grass with a bright summer sky. Pile it on #24 challenge was to use stickers. I used the flip flops from my stash. Maybe Jolees. Happy Summer everyone!!

Next week my photos should be better because I'll be using my new portable photo studio with a white box. DH gave it to me for birthday! but it came with a defective light so I have to wait for a replacement.

Recipe for the card:
DCWV,Bazzil cardstock
K&Co designer paper
Stamp-Sassy Studio Design Digi stamp
and Hero Arts Clouds (Large rubber)
Ink-Momento teardrop-summer sky
Prisma pencils, OMS
Punch-Martha Stewart butterflies
Ribbon and pearls from my stash

Baby.Boy.BBTB2

When I saw this week's BBTB2 challenge, I wanted to join the fun. I thought about the sun from Doodlecharms requirement and I decided to pair it with a cut I have had in my head for weeks. It is the little airplane, banner and clouds from New Arrival.

I have been wanting to make a baby boy card even though nobody I know is having a boy. I even bought some paper just for the card but didn't use it. I used some boyish paper that I received for free from CK-Manchester convention. The paper stack is made by CKeepsakes.

It didn't cut well in the Cricut. It's thin paper and I'm used to designer paper/cardstock weight.

BUT I'm pretty happy with it. I just cant STAND to make a card without ribbon though! The way I designed, it didn't really have room for a ribbon.

I made it 4.5" x 7" or so. It will fit in a #10 business envelope with room to spare. I embossed the sun with divine swirls and the background with swiss dots. I used a couple of brads and a small brown pearl on the propeller. So cute!

ThankYou.Card

This is a little SU stamp I colored up recently, Can't remeber the name. It took me a few weeks to get around to creating a card with it. It was going to be a birthday card but none of my birthday stamps fit in the spot where the sentiment is. The Thank You fit nicely so I used it and will keep in my stash. It fits the Just add ink challenge this week. I zigzag stitched around the perimiter. I used some garden party DCWV paper with CS. I used a mojo monday sketch from a few weeks ago that I missed. I added a piece of ribbon and a designer brad. I put Stickles around the outside of the mat.
Have a great day! Kim :)

Fluffles.BDay.Card

I made this card to keep for a future birthday not knowing who the recipient might be. I just felt like using this cute fluffles stamp and colored it with my colored pencils and OMS. I just love pink and brown also. I few challenges have embossing requirements and a Pleats as a challenge.
