Circle.Halloween

Hi all,
Oh no, it's all most Halloween, which would be ok in itself, but that means the holidays are right around the corner. Yikes! I'm behind on creating halloween packaging treats for my daughters and nieces and nephews but I'll get it done.

I made the card base with a spellbinder scalloped die and a slightly smaller circle die. The card is only about 4 or 4.5 inches. I think the papers are Echo Park 6x6 from Die Cuts R Us.

Have you ever bought their sample packs? They are great if you don't want to buy lots of one kind of paper. I used PDDU for the pumpkin cut.
I will send this to my little 7 month old niece for Halloween.
Hugs, Kim

ColourQ.Cards

Hi Bloggity Blog Friends,
If only I knew what I was doing when it comes to
html!!! Maybe I can take a class?
In this post you will find 2 sketches, one current
and one is older, 2 colour challanges, and 2 cardsthat I made. I used There She Goes stamp
sets for each card and the sentiment on the pink card is from Crafty Secrets. Please scroll down to
see cards.

I hope the colors on the first card are close to the colors in the challenge. I don't have Stampin Up CS so I have not idea what color River Rock is! I think this will do! (Basic Grey 6x6 paper).

I love this Pink card. It's for my friend going thru Chemo right now. The clouds have pretty stickles on them which didn't photograph well. The houndstooth paper is Pink Paisley.

Thanks for looking! Kim

Boo.Banner

Hi Blog Friends,

I finished my Boo Banner, that I cased from Scrapbooks, Etc. I'll add the magazine info at the bottom of the post. I changed a few things. I used Basic Grey "Eerie" collection paper and stickers. You can click on pictures to enlarge.

I made the pleated rosettes that everyone is making these days using 1.5 inches x 12" of the striped paper. I added scalloped and plain circles behind the rosettes cut with spellbinder nestibilities. I cut the tree from PDDU cart. and expression.

I used Lyrical Letters cart. for the flags. I cut them at 4" (but they are about 6" long) out of food boxes I save. (like chipboard) Then cut the same size out of designer paper to cover them.

I sponged black staz on ink on the silver bells. I used Melissa Frances trims, orange striped ribbon from Joannes (couldn't find a good sized gingham), purple buttons from Joannes.

I cut the flas out on black cardstock to cover the back because it was not pretty with the bells glued on with hot glue. I attached the bells with black emb. floss.

Except for the tree, all the little embellishments are from the sticker collection. I stuck them all onto black cs and trimmed around them so they would be matted.

Autumn.Card.

Hi all, I made a card with the beautiful Basic Grey 6x6 paper Indian Summer. I decided to use that as a sentiment as well. I heat embossed it in gold but it doesn't show up well.

I'm disappointed in the way this came out. It's too busy. I think I was trying to force it which I shouldn't have done. The paper makes it pretty in person but there should have been more contrast between the border punched paper and the background paper, oh well, live and learn!!!

I put glossy accents on the round vase but it doesn't show in the picture. I was rushing to get this in the mail. I think the stamp is Inkadinkado, rubber. It was fun to color.

Hope you are all enjoying Fall.

PCS-Ghost, Mojo160

Hi there Friends, I finally got to make a Halloween Card. I have been working on a cool banner that I will post in a few days, maybe sooner, so I haven't been able to make a card. I was so envious of the cute cards on the blogs. Finally, I had time last night. This adorable digi stamp image is from Pink Cat Studio called scary ghosts ( I think!).

Get a load of that cute sock monkey! A-freakin-dorable. I colored it with my usual, prisma pencils and oms.

The paper is the yummy Echo Park, got a Die cuts R Us. I used a scalloped punch from EK Success, the white cs is embossed with spots and dots folder. Two basic grey buttons, some cute purple gingham ribbon, and a stamp that looks like zigzag stitching. So Cute!

Going to save this for DD, put in her room on Halloween! She's 26 but loves Halloween.
Thanks for looking. See below for links for challenges.

Blk.Red.Mini.Album

Hi bloggy friends, this is my newest mini album, my 3rd one, and I just love to make them. I was inspired by Mary from Cards TV Fall Blog Hop. A gal on that hop made a mini using A2 size folded paper. It was so simple and came out great. This is a gift for my Brother's girlfriend. They had a baby 6 months ago and these are pics of their cute family!

They were at an occasion where they had to wear Black & Red so I made the mini in those colors. I use the Mariposa Mat stack, DCWV. I made most of the embellishments with my cricut and spellbinder dies. I used various ribbon, buttons, pom pom trim, gems, pearls.

I hope you like it! Kim :) These are in reverse order. This is last page. Look at the cute little hands!

Beautiful!

Sweet!

Journaling page.

Mariposa paper is gorgeous!

So happy!
